Audrey Dr. Audrey Bricker, Licensed Psychologist, has been practicing psychotherapy and providing consultation to individuals and couples for the past twenty-six years. Starting her career as a School Psychologist, Dr. Bricker acquired comprehensive knowledge of individual assessment techniques and strategies. Considerable experience evaluating intellectual, emotional and behavioral aspects of personality enables her to perform rapid and thorough assessments of issues presented.

Dr. Bricker earned her Doctoral degree from Rutgers University, where emphasis was placed on appropriate and efficient problem solving. She has been practicing Cognitive Behavior Therapy since completing her training in 1979. In addition to Rational Emotive and Multimodal therapy, she is skilled in stress management techniques including clinically standardized meditation, deep muscle relaxation, and autohypnosis. She has focused on teaching patients to defuse panic attacks, desensitize themselves to phobic objects, anger management, and how to deal most effectively with conflict and conflict resolution. In addition, Dr. Bricker has competencies in treating patients with chronic pain. Assertiveness training and strategies to deal successfully with difficult people in the workplace are areas of interest.

Dr, Bricker maintains active membership in the American Psychological Association, the Michigan Psychological Association and the National Association of School Psychologists as her primary professional affiliations. She was a member of the Executive Board of the Michigan Psychological Association and has been honored by being elected a Fellow of that organization. For a number of years, she was a member of the MPA Ethics committee. Publications and presentations include the topics of Phobia; Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder and the Diagnosis and treatments of Learning Disabilities..
